This empowering comedy features a pitch-perfect ensemble cast of Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, and Dolly Parton. Three co-workers set out to teach their egotistical, sexist boss a lesson about how to treat his employees, but when their plan goes awry, the prank turns into a kidnapping. Dolly Parton's Oscar-nominated theme song for the film (also titled "9 to 5") struck a chord with the public and went to #1 on three different Billboard charts, eventually being certified platinum.
